Business Report
I'm an employee and an employee has a range of different things to do depending on the business you're in. In the business I'm in I teach people dance. I'm teaching ballet.
We only have 2 employees and the other employee is teaching hip hop so we decided everyone is teaching but the real employees are full time and the others are part time.
We are currently up to making a contract and making a prototype. Our prototype is a video of a routine of each type of dance. Our business is going really smooth. We finished the logo recently.

That's where we're up to in our business and our plans.

Ewa's Dzieńnik (Eva's Diary)
15/09/1940
Dear diary
There are bomb noises everywhere. No one dares to look out the window. We are currently in Polska (Poland). The war is raging around us. Everyone in our home is anxious, hoping to have home stay home. Every now and then we hear a cry outside. I hope we survive tomorrow.
Love Ewa (Eva).
20/09/1940
Dear diary
It's 11:30pm. The bomb noises are getting louder and louder. As I'm writing, I'm coaxing my little sister Natalia to stop crying. Suddenly a big boom explodes by us. Smoke flows in the room. “Mama, Tata!” (Mum, dad!) I yell. I crawl on the floor with Natalia. I quickly grab my diary and pen, then we jump out the window of our small room. The night sky had a tint of red from all the bombs exploding. Everything was in pieces — except a small streetlight. It shone as bright as a star. “Gdzie będziemy spać?”(Where are we going to sleep) Interrupted Natalia. I look around. I spot a dark alleyway. “To musi wystarczyć.” (That will have to do) I said as I pointed to it. We settled down and this is when I’m writing in my diary. I hope no one catches us.
Love Ewa.

Dear diary
It's been a week since we've left home, well, since we got bombed! We've been getting some salmon from the lake, lucky it's right across the street. But also we had to flee from our temporary home. The army men found us. We narrowly dodged the bullets. They said Żaden żywy (no survivor standing). We managed to get away from them. The thought crossed my mind. They must've killed everyone and we were the last ones, at least I've still got Natalia. Natalia and I scan around for a sleeping spot. “Tutaj.” (Here) says Natalia. Again, we created a space big enough for the both of us. Please let no one find us.
Love Ewa.

Dear diary
It's been a year since I've written on this diary. We came back to our temporary home. Apart from that not much has happened. In fact the only reason I'm writing in this old ruffled diary again is because it's the 1st anniversary of when our house got bombed and when mother and father passed away. We haven't met anyone since.
Love Ewa.
20/09/1950
Dear diary
If anyone else is reading this, then this is the 5th anniversary. It's the most exciting day in 5 years. Natalia and I instinctively flinched as we saw a man in the corner of our eye. “Byliście tutaj od wojny?” (Have you been here since war?) The man asked. “tak” (yes) I answer. “To jest pierwszy raz widziałam obcego przez pięć lat” (it's the first time I've seen someone else in 5 years). I say. “Chcesz przyjść do mojego domu i wypić Kompot?” (Would you like to come over to my house and drink some Compote?) he queried. “To by było miłe” (that would be nice) Natalia answers before I say anything. We head over to the strange man's house. We talk about our experience at his house in the middle of the war, well Natalia did at least. Finally, the war is over and we are safe. We can resume to our normal lives again. I hope this war won’t happen again. But right now, we need a home, food, and money.
Love Ewa
20/9/1950 (Part 2)
In case you were wondering I was actually writing in my diary when Natalia was rambling on about our war experience and I ended the diary entry. This is a carry on to the previous diary entry. After we told him everything (mostly Natalia) he announced we could stay with him and he'd adopt us. He readies a room for us. We got ourselves comfortable in our room. I'm so exited for what's adventure we have next. We’re now ready for our next crazy adventure.

Creativity Challenge Post
The Creativity Challenge
In the second week of term 3 we did a creativity challenge. The challenge was that we had to package a feeling. We had to show it but not directly. We got in a group of 4.
Here is some photos of our package:
In the second week of term 3 we did a creativity challenge. The challenge was that we had to package a feeling. We had to show it but not directly. We got in a group of 4.
Here is some photos of our package:
Our package was supposed to look like a part of a house. At the bottom was the living room and up the top was a bedroom and on top of that was a roof.
The materials
- Paper for looks
- A pin for a door handle
- Pegs to hold the roof on
- Rop to hold the roof on
- Blue silicone for looks
- Hot glue to stick things together
- Fabric for the bed
So have you guessed what the feeling was?
Tell us in the comments.

The Holidays
In the holidays I had a lot of things to do. In this blog post I'll tell you a part of my holiday.
Day 1: I woke up at 8:00am to go to U13 badminton Nationals. The first day was grading which meant you would have trials to then go against people similar to our team. Our team lost all of the matches on the day.
Day 2: Today I woke a little later but nationals was still on though I was skipping the first part due to my private lessons on my competition solo. I learnt half of the dance and in the afternoon I played the second part of the match. We lost 6-0.
Day 3: Today was very similar to yesterday. In my private lesson I learnt the other half of the number. After I played at nationals again and we won 4-2. This was the first time we won.
Day 4: This was similar to the other day yet again. I learnt the arms of the dance but after, I didn't play nationals because now it was prize giving. We came 9th in division 2.
Day 5: Now today I didn't have nationals because it finished yesterday. I learnt the heads (where to look at) of the dance.
That was a segment of my busy holiday.

Cycling Letter
Dear Phil and Constable McFlynn.
Thank you for teaching us the road rules. I learnt the hand signals and what to do in a roundabout and interception.
My favorite part was the intersection and roundabout because we got choose where we go. I also liked the road ride even though I was nervous at first! The road ride gave me a glimpse of what it feels like riding a bike on the road because I haven't ridden on the road before.
Another thank you for teaching us about riding on the road.

Pigeon Imppossible
6:00am, Paris 14/5/17: Mission started. The mission to get Mum breakfast in bed. First step… Buy ingredients from the supermarket or use things in the cupboard.
Second step: Stuff it all into a container, then put the delightful mixture into the fridge, now wait ten minutes….
Third step: Now, I heard flowers were surly edible somewhere... I'll pick some flowers on the lawn. Lightly sprinkle some on the enchanting blend.
Fourth step: Pop it into the oven-don't worry if you don't Have one, just use the microwave. 999,999,999,999,999,999,999 degrees Celsius, 2 minutes. Now, I'm a professional at this so I don't need to taste my heavenly creation. I'll just leave it on the window sill for a moment.
The last time I did a mission that trouble making pigeon complicated it. I wonder where it's gone now… Anyway, last st-. Coooo. Not another pigeon! I'd recognise that other pigeons call-but this one is completely different. (Click click). OH NO the pigeon is eating my captivating creation! THUMP. Where has my Mother's breakfast and that pigeon gone?! I'll look down the window. HUH. My breakfast, my breakfast is destroyed. Coooo… why is it getting fainter and fainter? Hmm it must of been so good it fainted. UUHHH now I don't have breakfast for Mum.

1st day of term 1
Dear Mr Robertson, Mr Wimms, Mrs Liddell, Mrs Dennison, Mrs Nixon, Mrs Clarkson, Miss Marshall and Miss Gordon.
Thank you for organising this learning experience. The rotations were very fun and my favourite rotation was Breakout EDU.
Breakout was my first activity and I loved it. Breakout was challenging but fun. It was interesting scanning the room with the invisible ink pens flashlight. It was also funny because we were looking for a key and Tommy looked at all the sides of a rectangular box except for the right side, so a while later we checked and found it. We accomplished the challenge in only 1 hour and 3 minutes!
Thank you so much for organising these events.

Midday Wonders
The Autumn breeze tickled the parched grass, in front of the abandoned castle. The wheat and white building danced to the whistle of the wind across the stale meadow.

Favourite Camp Activity!
“This is the best day of camp so far!!! First we’re paddling in the relaxing kayak and then we’re taking snaps of the magnificent Green Pastures! I'm trying kayaking for the first time and I can't wait to take photos at photography, I can just tell it would be great!”
As I swiftly move through the bristling bushes filled with quadrillions of wheat, I recap the tips from the video the teachers showed us… The 3rd rule (9 squares on the camera), framing and see through. I quickly take a few snaps and move on to the next destination. I walked back to the meeting room and scrolled through the pictures as one caught my eye. I added a fade filter and it looked great. Hmm I used the see through enhancement (using the wheat) and the main focus slightly on the right, I even made the wheat slightly blurred so it looked like an effect to make the photo even better.

First day of school
I finished halfway of the questions and the bell rang for school time. The teachers showed us an introduction of them. I realized that we had five teachers. They called the roll and asked us to finish our designer profile. 20 minutes later we went welcome the new students, the event is called “powhiri”. Powhiri took the rest of the first block of school. “FINALLY it’s morning tea time, it felt like forever.”
Second block: “what do think we're going to do now Sa?” “I asked. “I'm not sure” she responded. The teacher finally announced what we were going to do. We had a choice of designing our own classroom! We could choose what group we could be in to work together, I chose to be in the name and logo group for the class. Straight after we finished talking the bell rang, ding ding ding.
Last block: The teachers called the roll out. After they told us to work in our groups. 1 hour later…….. “I can't think of anything” Sa sighed. “Yeah” I agreed. “Ding ding ding”. “Oh the bell rang” I exclaimed.
And that's how the first day of school ended.
